It is an indication of my design style but I will be submitting a more..fine-art piece.

Anyway, I understand that many people are in the same situation and that makes it a bit better. I will wait... Thanks for the replies...
Its just scary that after all these years they might consider the case abandoned if you don't receive the damn FP letter. Some guys didn't even get the receipts yet. I feel for those...
P.S.: Anybody got the case closed because they missed the FP appointment ? Is there a way to reopen it ?

Call USCIS and ask them to put in service request i.e internal investigation
Thenyou have to wait for 30-45 days for them to get back to you.

I am not aginst the OP or generalizing the B1 abuse. I am stating my opinion of what could be the reason behind the denial. You know, now a days even people are getting 221g for the H4 stamping. It does not matter what visa you are going for, the US consulates just looking for a execuse to reject. Not only in India, there are lot of people getting 221g in Canada, and got stuck up there.

But yes he had lots of problems with women in the past....and got away because all were in Europe.
US is different and what looks like a minor issue B1 sent to work like H1B eventually gets the spotlight and faces severe crackdown.

I have been reading about CIR since last 4 yrs and so far no action has been taken on this topic. Obama administration too is just good at promises! There is virtually no messiah who can help legal immigrants! Time is the only saviour of legal immigrants! So the mantra should be "wait, wait and wait..........."

Wow, so you were able to file I-140 and I-485 at the same time? My PD is 11/01 but due to retrogression we are waiting for the visa numbers to become current to file :mad:

I applied for I-485 during in July 07 and have I-140 approved.
I renewed my passport last week, new passport number is different.
Should I inform USCIS about this change?? is there any process/form for this?
Please share experiences, I'm sure many of us must have experienced this.

thanks guys! I appreciate your feedback.... I agree that this may not be the best time to change jobs....But, will still like to see if there is something available. I agree that chicago is a gr8 city but have family reasons to move to Atlanta.....

I have my H1B till 2010. Say on my way back from India I used AP. The AP is valid till Nov 2008. What will be my new I94 expiry date? Am I reading it correctly that if I present my H1B to the POE he stamps the I94 with 2010 Expiry date. If I don't show him my H1B then he stamps the I94 with Nov 2008 expiry date.
1. If the officer stamps my I94 with Nov 2008 expiry date, how can we get it extended after entering US.
2. Is it by filing another H1B extension?
3.If I don't want to file H1B extention what is the other option to get the I94 extended beyond Nov 2008.

Thanks. I will go back and reshoot this and experiment a bit. The scene wasn't lit by harsh light - high cloud as I recall. I actually deepended the shadows intentionally in the PS CS2 RAW converter - the original wasn't as contrasty. What is interesting is that while the actual exposure of the blown area should be well within tolerances (If I were still shooting B&W film I would have guessed it at around zone 8) it is just the one colour that is blown - and yellow is not one of the 3 channels so it must have actualy been 2 colours. I will have to keep an eye on my histogram display because I don't have the $ for a 1DSMkII!

I used to work for a company A in california.. Boss is kind of using very bad language constantly and torchers almost everyday. Is there any1 who can help me out or has similar situations. Is there any1 that i can file a complain. Since he knew that I am on H1B and international student he was continuously abusing. any help would appreciated.

Guys im an Eb3 applicant and my pd is 2007. I got a transfer notice of my I485 being transferred to USCIS-NBC lees summit ,mo . wHAT DOES THIS MEAN. i HAVE BEEN WORKING WITH THE SAME COMPANY FOR LAST 9 YEARS and had submitted all the tax returns at the time of I140 approval. Is there something i should worry about. pLEASE ADVISE.
